Founder's Note
Born and raised in India in a family steeped in handloom heritage, I grew up with a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and textile artistry. My path led me to New York, where I studied Women’s Ready-to-Wear at FIT and honed my eye under renowned houses like Oscar de la Renta, Proenza Schouler, and Monse. After three years of building ĀROHI, I moved to Paris to pursue a Master’s in Creative Direction at Istituto Marangoni — to reinterpret my legacy through a more contemporary, international lens.
ĀROHI, to me, is an expression of quiet strength — a balance of restraint and boldness. It’s for the woman who is intuitive, confident, and ever-evolving; whose presence speaks softly yet powerfully. For her, fashion isn’t about being seen — it’s about being. Authentic. Fluid. Unapologetically herself.
About the brand
Founded in the midst of the 2021 epidemic, ĀROHI emerged as a quiet experiment in modern elegance. Rooted in a legacy of hand-weaving and inspired by the understated glamour of today, the brand reimagines traditional craftsmanship through contemporary silhouettes and thoughtful textiles.
Every piece reflects a balance between heritage and modernity — exceptional artisanal techniques meeting bold, minimal design. ĀROHI is about creating timeless, singular pieces, designed for those who move through the world with quiet confidence and a sense of distinction.
